About our Library


The College takes pride in having a Central Library housed in ground floor with a built up area of 457.30 Sq.Mts. The Library has more than 25000 books and subscribing 85 journals which include national and international journals and magazines. In addition to books and journals, are subscribed. ATM facility is also available for students. All the back issues of journals are bound and kept for ready reference. There is a separate library sections for all students. All Departments have their own library to cater to the instant reference needs of faculty members. The Library has been computerized all its housekeeping operations using in house development library software that is well maintained and updated regularly.

Library is a Heart of the Institution. The library is providing the information to the right user to the right document at the right time. The library undertakes contributes directly to the institution’s academic mission and to equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to achieve academically and to maximize their employability.

Library working hours

  • Working days ( Monday to Saturday ) 8.30 am to 7.00 pm
  • Sundays 9.30 am to 1.00pm
  • Vacation 8.30am to 07.00pm

Library Rules and Regulations


  • All users must observe total silence in the library
  • All users are required to scan your ID card in gate register upon entrance and leave  from the library
  • All bags, cases, folders etc. must be left in the belonging area outside the library.
  • Users are not allowed to leave their baggage overnight in the library. The library shall not take any responsibility for loss of personal property or books already signed out to a user
  • No student is allowed to enter the circulation area without the consent of the library staff
  • Anyone caught marking, defacing or mutilating books or any other library material will be expected to pay for the material with the most current edition of the same
  • Good order must be observed in the library at all times for example placing of feet on the furniture, eating and  sleeping etc. will not be allowed
  • Use of sound equipment like mobile phones ,radios, Walkman’s, cell phones etc. is strictly prohibited in the library
  • Seats in the library may not be reserved
  • Users are not allowed to reshelf books after removing them from the shelf. Leave the books on the table
  • No library equipment may be moved, modified or tampered with without permission from the librarian
  • Turn off switch (fan & light) before leaving the library
  • Users are not allowed to wear the coat inside the library
  • Books due on a holiday may be returned on the next working day. No fine will be levied in such cases.
  • Users should keep clean

Borrowing Procedure

  • All students must present their college ID before borrowing any library materials
  • Students are allowed to borrow a maximum of ,
    • Staffs – 8
    • Students (UG) - 4
    • Students (PG) – 6
  • All borrowed materials must be returned on or before the due date unless fine will be collected Rs. 5 for first day, Rs. 1/- from next day.
  • Students are not allowed to borrow books on behalf of others or transfer borrowed materials to other students
  • All reserve materials must be returned at the specified time
  • Any user who causes damage to or loss of any library materials or other library property will be charged for replacement double cost of the library materials.
  • The Circulation Counter shall be closed half an hour before closing of the Library.

Exclusion from the Use of the Library

All members of the Library team are available for any assistance you may need in using the Library resources, 'facilities & services. Library will welcome any suggestion for better use of library facilities.
